Poseidon Adventure (1972)

This is an original Italian two-panel movie poster from 1973 for The Poseidon Adventure starring Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Red Buttons, Roddy McDowall, and Shelley Winters. Ronald Neame and Irwin Allen directed the classic ocean-liner disaster film. Mort Kunstler is the artist for the poster.

Referred to in Italy as a 4 Fogli, the poster measures 55" x 78" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to linen-backing with some surface creasing and minor fold and surface wear. There are also a few, minor surface scuffs. Like all Italian 4 fogli posters from the period, it was folded after printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
