Papillon (1973)

This is an original, French grande theatrical movie poster from 1974 for the initial release of Papillon starring Steve McQueen, Dustin Hoffman, Victor Jory, Don Gordon, and Anthony Zerbe.  Franklin J. Schaffner directed the prison escape drama based on a novel  by Henri Charriere.  Tom Jung is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 46.75" x 62" and is in very good condition with a few tiny tears on the white edge.  It was folded at the time of printing and there are small separations at the left and right edges of some of the horizontal folds.  There are pinhole separations at a few of the cross-folds.  Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
