Cool Hand Luke (1967)

This is an original, French movie poster from 1967 for Cool Hand Luke starring Paul Newman, George Kennedy, J.D. Cannon, Jo Van Fleet, Robert Drivas, Dennis Hopper, Harry Dean Stanton and Morgan Woodward. Stuart Rosenberg directed the classic, prison escape thriller. Jean Mascii is the artist for the poster.

The grande poster measures 46” x 61” and is in very good to excellent unrestored condition with minimal edge wear from handling. It was folded at the time of printing.  Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.  There is a pinhole-size separation at the upper-left cross-fold.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or from a stock image. The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.

This rare and very collectible poster, printed in 1967 to promote the initial, French theatrical release of Cool Hand Luke, is not a reprint or a reproduction.
