This is an original, linen-backed, British quad theatrical movie poster from 1912 for Nina's Evening Prayer (also known as Nina's Prayer). Percy Stow directed the silent drama about a struggling father tempted by crime but reformed through his daughter's example. The short film was shown with other titles throughout the British empire in 1912 and 1913.
The poster measures 30.25” x 40” (it has not been trimmed) and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good condition some light smudges around edges and minor fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
This extremely rare and collectible poster, printed in 1912 to promote the theatrical release of Nina's Evening Prayer, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
