Star Wars (1977)

This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1977 for Star Wars. The science fiction classic stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, James Earl Jones, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker. George Lucas directed the film. Tom Jung is the artist for the poster.

Due to the huge response to the film in 1977, the Style A poster was printed four different times during the initial theatrical run of Star Wars.  This poster is from the second printing.

The Style A poster measures 27" x 41” and is in very good to excellent condition with a few, scattered, extremely light creases from previous handling. The poster was folded at the time of printing and has very light wear and creasing along parts of the cross-folds from long-term storage.  Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
