Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002)

This is an original, recalled, double-sided, foil-lettered one-sheet movie poster from 2002 for Austin Powers in Goldmember starring Mike Myers, Beyonce Knowles, Michael Caine, Seth Greene, Michael York, Verne Troyer and Robert Wagner. Jay Roach directed this third film in the James Bond-spoof comedy series.

The advance poster has foil lettering on the title. In March 2002, New Line Cinemas received a "cease and desist" order from MGM and a British company that held the James Bond license to prevent them from calling the new film "Austin Powers in Goldmember." New Line quickly recalled promotional materials, including this poster, however some copies survived. New Line worked out a settlement and posters with the same design were printed and issued to theaters. The new posters had one key difference: no foil lettering. This recalled poster was printed before the "cease and desist" order and features the fancy lettering missing in the second batch of posters.

The poster is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge wear from previous handling. It has never been folded.
